Desorber D40 — Separating water from oil
Desorbers D40 from CJC® dewater and dry lubricants quickly and reliably — from hydraulic to quenching oil, whether mineral or synthetic. The water separation runs continuously in the bypass flow (24/7) or at a separate storage tank. Even with stable emulsions with a water content of 70%, the CJC® Desorber D40 reduces the value to less than 0.01%, as dissolved water is also removed — independent of the additive package, air content or viscosity.

Application areas & installation example — Desorber D40

The pump in the oil inlet of the desorber D40 sucks in the oil. In the desorber chamber, the warm, moist oil meets a counterflow of cold, dry air. The oil heats the cold air, which allows it to absorb a lot of moisture from the oil (system pressure constantly low < 2 bar). In a subsequent process, the warm, moist air cools down again, and the water condenses.
