SOLUTION CJC FLUID CARE UNIT
When filtering phosphate ester, care must be taken to remove not only particles but, above all, water and acids from the fluid.
The CJC Fluid Care Unit absorbs water from phosphate ester and in so doing, reduces the risk of hydrolysis. Furthermore, the CJC Fluid Care Unit adsorbs existing acids and thus retard the catalytic degradation process of phosphate ester molecules. The phosphate ester is pumped through two filter housings (2-stage filtration). In the first stage, acid compounds in the oil are neutralized using a CJC Filter Insert made of aluminium oxide, ion exchange resins or fuller’s earth. In the second stage, water and particles are removed from the oil using a CJC Fine Filter Insert made of cellulose (filtration degree: 3 to 1 micron (µm).
